Lockhart Hall ORIGINAL
$300.00
ORIGINAL Artwork
Location: Princeton, New Jersey
The original pen and ink sketch, which I personally removed from my sketchbook, trimmed the edges, and float mounted in a natural wood frame.
Lockhart Hall was the last dormitory built along the “western wall” of Princeton’s campus. This is a line of Gothic buildings that were completed in 1928. My mom grew up in the area and as we walked through campus together and I drew this piece, I got to hear stories of her visiting the campus, walking McCosh Walk, and visiting the local art exhibits put on by the university. while I was drawing, I was fascinated by the generations of students who lived here and passed through these doors on their way to class.
Lockhart Hall was hand-drawn with a black ink pen and water in a moleskin sketchbook.
The drawing is 4.5″x8″ and float mounted in an 11″x14″ frame.
A hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity is included in the back of the frame.
I handle shipments with great care. Artwork is securely packaged and ready to be shipped in 5-7 business days.
