The original pen and ink sketch, which I personally removed from my sketchbook, trimmed the edges, and float mounted in a natural wood frame.

Little Italy is a neighborhood steeped in history and flavor, where narrow streets are lined with restaurants, cafés, and shops that echo the traditions of Italian immigrants who settled here in the late 19th century. The area remains a cultural landmark, filled with aromas of fresh pasta and espresso, and alive with the hum of conversation and celebration.
The day I was inspired to draw this scene was very wet and windy so I drew a quick concept sketch standing along Mulberry Street huddled under a canopy. People hurried in and out of the rain, barely glancing at the red-and-green banners strung overhead. When I returned home to my studio I drafted this detailed perspective and took my time adding all of the small, fun details to create this final piece.

Les Halles was hand-drawn with a black ink pen and water on Bristol Paper.
The drawing is ___”x___” and float mounted in an 16″x20″ frame.

A hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity is included in the back of the frame.
