The original pen and ink sketch, which I personally removed from my sketchbook, trimmed the edges, and float mounted in a natural wood frame.

The Van Gogh Museum expansion is a modern building that stands in contrast to the predominantly brick, historical buildings in Amsterdam. The city has an incredible amount of museums where all types of art are celebrated daily. The crowds surrounding the Van Gogh Museum exemplify the passion people show for the arts when visiting Amsterdam.
I drew this early in the morning as the museum opened sitting in the park across the street. The line out the door remained consistent as people came to see the expanded museum and collection of artwork.
